Amazing - so so glad we went with Healthy Paws!
After paying medical bills for our cat because we didn’t have any insurance, one of the first things we did when we adopted our dog was to sign up for Healthy Paws after reading up on which was the best! We never thought we’d have to use it, but after 2 years of having our dog, he was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor & required chemo. Thank goodness we had Healthy Paws. They made the process SO easy & it allowed us to get all of the treatment our vet & oncologist recommended without having to worry. The ease of reimbursement is amazing too. Exceeded my expectations. Our dog is now cancer free & healthy too!

Astronomical Rate Increases Spoken Here.
Good for the first few years but beyond this astronomical rate increases. Don't let the name fool you, this is a money making business designed to maximize profits. Call center is based in low cost regions i.e. Philippians. Could not make changes to my policy through their website. Tried two different browsers. Call center rep tried to convince me to speak to an account representative aka as retention specialist before cancelling. Shameful business practices!

I was hesitant to purchase health insurance for my dog but I take thanks everyday that I have. My dog has had a few mishaps in her life and the thought of having to wait or say no to her treatment because of money isn't a choice anyone should have to make. Of course I would do what it takes In the end, but Healthy Paws has made my choices easier. They are quick to respond, the process is easy and they are personal as well. You don't feel like you are dealing with a corporation. They treat you as a human with kindness. I would highly encourage everyone to go with this company.

Very happy to have my pets insured with Nationwide
I now have two dogs insured with major medical coverage. Although I haven't had any major medical issues, (thank God), I have the peace of mind they are covered. In the meantime, their annual exams and shots are covered. What more could you ask for? I am very happy to have my pets insured with Nationwide. :)

I think this is practically criminal at a time like this that Trupanion is unwilling to extend grace to its loyal customers who are losing money due to Covid-19. In order to keep my dog as safe as possible by being able to afford potentially life threatening emergencies he may have in future, I pay 116.00 a month. He is my Service Dog, so naturally, I've little choice left - I have to keep him alive for my own safety as well. Here we are in a global crisis that is forcing us to go broke (with exception to lucky individuals like Noreen, obviously), and you're telling me that if I want to afford my bill, I'd only be able to do that my going to a plan that won't cover nearly as many expenses should he become hurt AND that if I do that, I'd never be able to get onto the best coverage plan I now have . So in essence, he and I are both screwed either way. Wow. It's heartless. I changed to TruPanion at the recommendation of his trusted doctor. I've been proud to be part of what I thought was the best healthcare plan for our pets - I actually felt good that I'm the kind of pet owner who wants and pays for nothing but the best for him. I tell people about your company every opp I get to help another pet owner. I was under impression that Trupanion had more heart. This is a highly manipulative move on Trupanion'˜s part. And it's leaving a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't feel good about my membership with a company that operates this way in troubling times. Where's your compassion?

Pet insurance is the right choice.
Having Trupanion pet insurance has been extremely helpful over the years for my pets. I highly recommend anyone with a pet to get insurance. I checked a lot of insurance company's and found Trupanion to be the best choice for benefits and cost.
