Increase in premium as they like
Unsure how this company keeps getting positive reviews. They increase your premium every year. If your dog is healthy, they will still increase your premium. There should be a reward for getting in early, not increase as you get older. How can I stop my dog from getting older? unbelievable. yr 1: 40 - that's how they draw you in yr 2: 47 yr 3: 58 0 claims. Will be deciding whether or not I continue with them. I haven't experienced what they will do if I made a claim.

They NEVER pay, but ALWAYS jack up the policy!!!
Pathetic!! Raised my policy 33% last yr and my dog is healthy. The FEW times I have tried to get $$$ back is almost ALWAYS so sad, too bad!!! When I first got them used to tell as many as possible about them. THAT has changed!!!

Dogs get the Best with Trupanion
I currently own a 10 year old Brittany, with the routine issues that plague and older dog. I also own a 4 year old French Brittany who has had the misfortune to have be have been diagnosed with patella luxation and diabetes insipidus - I love the little guy - he came from a good reputable breeder but we just had bad luck with his genetics - not common to his breed. Having Trupanion Pet Health Insurance to pick up a large portion of the costs has allowed me to give this dog the extras - to travel further for better care - to continue PT beyond the actual release date to build strength and endurance. Without Trupanion, I would have been pressed to give this animal what he needs to have the best life. I am optimistic that my dog will soon return competition and hunting - what we both live for!

I just got my first puppy. He is so fast and quick and he’s always sniffing. Out of no where he’s chewing something and I would be so scared. clearly , I don’t let him beat what he’s not suppose to, but babies are quick and life happens. it was easy to sign up, not complicated to understand . A the feeling Of relief I had after hitting submit was Awesome. It gives me so much piece of mind to know if anything ever happened, money wouldn’t play any factor in any decisions I had to make.

Puppy's Anesthetic Pro-rated!
Our first claim was seamless! We submitted our vet's bill, which included multiple treatments, and trupanion deciphered it all, explained it in detail and even pro-rated the anesthetic in our favour (one condition was not covered, but the other was and both required anesthetic)! Our puppy has just turned one, and our decision to purchase pet insurance has already paid off. We are in the lead financially and it is a great comfort to know that we will not have to worry about large unforeseen vet bills or insurance hassles in times of our pet's health crises. We have received reimbursement for costs from Trupanion that we would have had a hard time covering the full medical costs for his care. We will never be without Trupanion health insurance for our Pets as we don't want monetary reasons to be the deciding factor in providing the needed health care.
