I have had Trupanion insurance for over 6 years paying the monthly premium which increases every year without complaint.
I have had Trupanion insurance for over 6 years, paying the monthly premium, which increases every year, without complaint. I submitted my first claim two weeks ago and summarily told that Trupanion would pay $0 of the claim. They said that it was a preexisting condition, a puppy heart murmur that my dog grew out of, as predicted by my Veterinarian. She has never had a diagnosis of a murmur since her first and she has wellness checkups annually. She had xrays done that I presume was reviewed, there was no sign of heart disease and what the diagnosis was is Ehrlichia NOT heart disease. My Veterinarian is on vacation for a week, when she's back we will contest the ridiculous claim denial.

Pleasantly surprised at quality coverage
Trupanion covered our puppy's emergency quarantine and care for parvo after having her only 10 days. They covered more than 3/4 of her $5000 bill since then they have covered some other claims as they advertise and have done so without any hassle. If only my own health care coverage went so smooth. Thank you

I've had Trupanion since my cats were 10 week old kittens.
I've had Trupanion since my cats were 10 week old kittens...and they are alive and well at 9 years old (acting like they're 2) thanks to the phenomenal support of Trupanion - they helped me maximize benefits and saved each cats life 4x (not including the time one cat was nearly dead at 10 weeks old). ...and I've NEVER had to worry about emergencies and how I would have to pay for pricey procedures. The monthly policy is so affordable and is worth the small investment. ...literally saving me $25k collectively over the years. The staff and management and company are all a collection of individuals who truly live their jobs and it shows. The claims are processed either immediately via the vet or expediently when I submit a claim. The Submit Claim app it now has is excellent. Their policies only get better as the company has grown. I have never had a question left unanswered and staff will explain any policy questions several times if I'm not clear on it. I have not been paid for this endorsement.

Premium Amount goes up WAY too high every few months.
Premium Amount goes up WAY too high every few months. I don't think it's fair that i can change my deductible HIGHER but cannot change it back LOWER in time if i wanted. Trupanion is NOT my first choice AT ALL, I only stick with it because I don't have time right now to call around for diff policies.
