Very expensive for "wellness" processes in younger to middle-aged dog..
Our boxer is on a costly special diet (hydrolized protein) plus Fortiflora. It would be helpful to have some allowance for these requirements. Without these vet-prescribed items she develops what Dr. Hebert (her former vet) called "boxer colitis".

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a life saver
We rescued a puppy during the COVID stay at home which required playing catch up on some neglected vaccinations. Mamba also got a urinary tract infection which is rare in male dogs but nonetheless another thing to deal with. We noticed some odd behavior and called the 24 hour VetHelp line for advice, they gave us great information and advised us to take Mambe to the vet tomorrow. Having Pet Insurance eases the decision making when you're unsure if your pet needs to be seen or not, the expense is out of mind and you're only thinking about your Fur Baby's well being.
