I learned with my elderly 15 year old cat - who I havent insured as it is just not worth if financially with her age and ongoing conditions - that insurance is a wonderful thing to have. My 3 year old cat was recently given a probable diagnosis of irritable bowel disease. Knowing that I had Trupanion really helped ease the worry of getting her looked after and medicated properly. My 4 month old kitten is also insured through Trupanion. I always recommend Trupanion to my fellow parents-of-fur-babies!

Pre-exisiting conditions
The only thing I disagree with is how pre existing is determined. I have one that had T12 L1 surgery prior to obtaining insurance. 3 months later when insurance was in effect she had cervical issues. You say pre-existing. I say no. My other dog always had allergies that affected ears, nose and eyes. Last year she developed something with skin. You say pre-existing, I say no. I have a degree in medical coding and billing. For a person these would not be pre-existing. So I feel like I may be wasting money.

Everything is taken care of so easily and quickly! It’s effortless. There is always a caring person that answers the phone on the few occasions when I had questions. The instructions on the website are easy to follow and answer most questions. I love Trupanion!
