Most of my reimbursement claims are denied on the grounds of a pre-existing condition. This denial is based on a previous report from a university veterinary hospital mentioning suspected illnesses before the dog was adopted, but this report draws no conclusions. I am seriously considering cancelling this insurance.

When I adopted my cat

When I adopted my cat, there was a Fetch representative there who told me pet insurance was required before I could even leave with him. That alone felt misleading and pressured, but I trusted what I was told. Come to find out, the information they gave me was flat-out wrong. I was specifically told that routine checkups would count toward my deductible, which is the main reason I signed up. They don’t. At all. That little detail was conveniently left out until after they had my money. This company is either poorly trained or intentionally deceptive. Either way, it’s unacceptable. I feel completely misled and regret ever signing up. Do yourself a favor and don’t fall for the same sales tactics.
