Highly recommend pet insurance
After losing a dog to cancer I couldn't afford to treat, I started getting Nationwide pet insurance on all my pets. I no longer have to worry about not being able to afford treatments to make them feel better or to heal them. I feel this is one way I can say "Too bad Cancer, WE WIN!" I recommend it to everyone from the time they are ready to bring home their new pet. My pets are like my children and deserve the best care.

I cannot say enough good about Nationwide Health Insurance! It stands head and shoulders above other pet insurances! And it is a total shame that it SO FAR SURPASSES any commercial human health insurance currently available!

But only for catastrophic situations. Hate that the drs visits and necessary meds , like heart worm and flea prevention are nit covered

I tell every pet owner I meet they need Trupanion! All our friends know the surgeries Pepper has had in the last year and a bit and they all agree that it is a good thing we had insurance. When ever I have to take Maxx to the vets, Nationwide is truly on my side, those visits are expensive to say the least Maxx was a little under the weather luckily they did not find anything, maybe it was the heat. Dakota Vets are the Best in The World to me.
