Emma diagnosis
Emma was limping and generally laying around. Got to the point where it was just hard for her to move. Because I was concerned about a former surgery on her knee, I took her to her vet and she sent me to the surgeon. The surgeon diagnosed her with arthritis. He wont me to put her on fish oil. Her regular vet had diagnosed some pain medication and he told me to use that sparingly. She is doing much better. On a sidenote we decided to put her on a diet because she was way overweight. She has since lost 15 pounds and is moving very well.

Gone downhill fast
I've been a Healthy Paws customer for years. It used to be great, but the company got brought out by AON earlier this year. STEER CLEAR. Ever since the buyout my calls are getting re-routed to Indian call centers. The representatives on the other end of the line are not authorized to do anything and you waste 30 min on the phone with them trying to explain the situation. RUN, don't walk from this insurer. Sadly it's another typical story of a great business going down the toilet after getting brought out by a mass conglomerate. Thank goodness for this insurance!
Our Fur Baby Piper has had lots happen throughout her years... we are very fortunate to have had this insurance because there is NEVER hesitation to get whatever she needs done. Not many Bernese Mtn Dog owners can say there dog lived to be 11 ... Piper is around 11 1/2 and slowing down but still a very happy girl. I will never have a dog without having pet insurance .
