We had a recent acute illness for our young cat. It was a comfort to know we had signed up for Health Paws. They paid everything promptly and they even reached out with a personal contact to check in on our fur baby. I highly recommend them to anyone who is an "all in" pet parent.

Ear infection
Gunner got an ear infection in May and in August got a sore by privates and feet bothered him and end of August another ear infection. Then he was diagnosed w allergies by vet August 24th, 2022. They told me he had allergies from May w/o vet diagnosis. Isn't that convient to blame everything on his 1st ear infection as allergies before a vets diagnosis. Wish I never would have believed the rating and their sweet talk to join their company. Now I'm stuck and can't go anywhere else. Bad company politics.

Kathy was amazing to deal with. This was my first time having to submit a claim through my account online, and the interface was incredibly easy to use. Just in case I had trouble with it, Kathy sent me a claim form to fill out and send in. I now have 8 cats on Trupanion and it has saved me on multiple occasions and I have saved way more than I have spent on all of their plans.
I now have 8 cats on Trupanion, and it has saved me on multiple occasions, and I have saved way more than I have spent on all of their plans. When my kitten broke her leg, and when another cat developed an autoimmune disease and required numerous appointments, medications, and rehab, I didnât have to worry about saying yes to the best treatment. I was able to have them treated to the gold standard, no second thoughts. That peace of mind is priceless in an emergency situation.

I'm disappointed because our dog has been insured for 3 years (October 3, 2019) on October 2, 2019, he visited his vet for diarrhea. I attempted to submit a claim on 4/17/2021 because he had diarrhea and my claim was denied, when I called to inquire the reason for denial I was told that his diarrhea was considered a preexisting condition (which is completely ridiculous to me since diarrhea is such a broad symptom that could be caused by any number of things). I am currently exploring other options to insure our dog because I feel as though we've been paying into this policy for 3 years now with no return.
