have two dogs. A cocker and a dog breed that took the streets. If I possessed such a service do you offer I would be more tranquil in Brazil but unfortunately I do not know anything like that. Congratulations. May God bless you.

Never an issue - BEST INSURANCE AVAILABLE!

My little teacup yorkie has had a few things come up over her first 2 years of life, and I can say that Trupanion has been the best decision for insurance for her overall health and welfare! They have promptly paid all claims, and they even covered some items that, technically, probably should not have been covered but they made great judgement calls based upon the overall well being of my precious little princess. I would definitely recommend Trupanion to every dog owner out there. They really are a class act, in a time when people and companies seem to have lost their caring, compassionate, humanity. I would rate them 9.8 out of 10, but the rating scale on this site will not allow it.

Best Out There

Thank you Trupanion for doing such a great job at reviewing claims, processing and paying out. All this for a great price. I feel so fortunate to have went with this company. I only wish my own health insurance company was this easy to navigate. My pup has had numerous urinary tract infections, kennel cough and giardia. Even minor claims add up and the UTI claim has become a larger claim than I ever imagined. With a 0 deductible and 90% coverage, I feel very fortunate. I have heard horror stories from others with different pet insurance. You can not afford not to use Trupanion!

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like: Examination fees Wellness and preventive care Elective, or cosmetic procedures Sales tax, where applicable Like all pet insurance providers, Trupanion does not cover pre-existing conditions.
