Excellent coverage, laborious paperwork for me/vet

A far superior insurance company to my first company. Very caring, helpful customer support. The actual overage and pay out on the claims were far superior to a prior company I have dealt with.The only major drawback was that every invoice required a claim for signed by my veterinarian even though 98% of the invoices related to the onset of my dog's illness. this was frustrating for the veterinarian, her front desk staff and myself even though I was very organized in my approach to this matter.

I am very happy with Trupanion.

This is the third claim I have submitted to Trupanion for my dog, Sadie. They handle my claim quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone.

Completely satisfied

Trupanion provided the benefits which I expected and did so in a timely fashion. I would recommend this company to any pet owner, and I would not own a pet without having the coverage which Trupanion offers.

100% Satisfied!

While sorry to have to use my pet insurance, I am a pet owner who is 100% satisfied with Trupanion. Their telephone staff is supportive, caring and very professional. I have had to submit 3 claims during my beautiful pet's illness, and I was so pleased with the rapid response from Trupanion. I was notified by e-mail when the claims were received, processed and sent out. Having my beloved pet sick has been very stressful for us, but there has been no stress whatsoever dealing with Trupanion. I endorse them wholeheartedly.

Super easy to deal with. A+

Simple fact is that my mini-dachshund had a back injury. As promised and with no BS whatsoever, they paid the 90% of my dog's huge surgery bill.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
