You have to have it when you have a pet

We are so thankful to have such a wonderful insurance as Trupanian. Our dear family cat had a torn ACL and throughout and after recovery we got reinbursed in a very quick and simple way. The staff at Trupanian is exceptional with their care and help. If you can afford having a pet you cannot afford to be without insurance. This is the best thing you can do to have peace of mind in case you need it for a minor or major problem with your pet. And be thankful if you don't need it so you know that it will help another pet in need. We believe that standing before that situation of a lifethreatening or shortened lifespan due to a illness should not be a moneyissue. And with having an insurance you don't have to worry if you can pay for it or not. I would only recommend Trupanian. We researched a lot of insurances and with all the options Trupanian is truly the best. Thank you so much Trupanian, you are so true to your dear loved pets.

Trupanion Saved My Dog

I would not have been able to afford the emergency veterinary care that my Aussie/Border Collie cross received twice; once due to an accident and once to a life threatening illness. Both times the bill was over $1000. I can hardly believe how easy it was to have my claim processed and 90% of my bills paid. I wish my personal health insurance was this efficient. I would recommend this company without hesitation. They are literally life savers.

Fantastic Service from Trupanion

My cat had gastroenteritis, and had to receive urgent madical care, which cost $437.50. I submitted my very first claim to Trupanion for these medical fees. What fantastic service and response I received from Trupanion!The entire claim process was very easy. I spoke directly to a Trupanion agent who guided me through the claim process and all the necessary documents that had to be submitted. It took a total of one week to do all of the following: (1)get the medical records for my cat, (2) post them to Trupanion,(3) have them verified by Trupanion, (4)then Trupanion sent an email with a favorable response, indicating my cheque was on the way! So within two weeks from submitting the claim I was reimbursed $346.95 for all eligible costs!!! If only medical insurance for humans could be so easy!! Thank you Trupanion for assisting in my medical expenses for my little fluffy friend!

Thanks a billion!

My daughter Mango (a Jack Russell Terrier) developed severe allergies and would bite/scratch herself all over her body until she bled and hair would start falling out. It breaks our hearts to see her suffer like that. We would really like to thank Trupanion for their help, support and quick time to handle replies and claims!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
