Confusion but overall great service

There was a bit of confusion with how payment was working, I was paid instead of the Vet and then found out that my deductible was still owed. very confusing in an already stressful time, I thought I was free and clear with money I owed but now have to pay more out of pocket. Very happy with the dealings I have had just wish there was better clarification as to what was going on, when to expect it to happen and how people were getting paid and more clarity on what I owed.

save your money in the bank

This company is a scam. I wish i had read this reviews prior to purchase. They are refusing to pay my claims because they determine it was a pre-existing condition which is totally not true according to my vet. She even got on the phone with them to argue on my behalf . I called to cancel the policy today and was told that they cannot do it now and someone will get back to me in few days, not tomorrow and they cannot tell me exactly when.

Trupanion- Great experience!

My 6 year old labradoodle Casey, has had allergies for years. After trying many things, my vet finally fouind a treatment. I am so grateful to trupanion for covering the expenses! Casey is such a happy puppy now!Thanks Trupanion.

Thank Goodness For Trupanion!

I am very thankful to have Trupanion for my pet insurance. My dog Bailey became very ill and I would not have been able to cover the cost to save her. Having my pet insurance through Trupanion is what saved my Bailey's life and I am very grateful. They processed everything very quickly and anyone I spoke to on the phone was very nice and professional. Thank you Trupanion for helping my Bailey :)

Trupanion is amazing

Unfortunately my beloved dog has had some bad luck recently. He needed an MRI,two separate emergency vet appointments and several regular vet check ups. Trupanion has been amazing to work with. They are very responsive and quick to turn around claims no matter how large in price they are. I can't imagine where my puppy and I would be without Trupanion.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
