Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I recently filed a claim with Pets Bets Insurance and was thoroughly impressed. Here’s why: 1. Submitting my claim was a breeze. Their online portal is user-friendly, with clear instructions and a straightforward form. 2. I received my reimbursement within just 10 days, which was faster than expected and extremely convenient. 3. The customer service team was responsive and helpful. They quickly addressed my questions via phone and email, providing knowledgeable and empathetic support. 4. My policy covered a wide range of treatments, from routine check-ups to emergencies, providing peace of mind during a stressful time. 5. Pets Bets Insurance was upfront about coverage and exclusions, keeping me informed throughout the process with no hidden surprises.

It never fails to miss but I don't get my EOB for at least one month after I submitted my claim. I called customer service to check on status and was told the amount doesn't matter, but that they have up to 45 days to process th claim. No "I'm sorry for your negative experience," but nonchalantly reiterated the 45 day they had to complete th claim.

So far I have not been satisfied. Claims take far too long to process and reimburse. I'm paying a lot of money per month and I'm worried if something big happens financially I won't be able to help my dog and that defeats the purpose of this plan. Last year when I had my dogs much needed dental routine which is supposed to be included in my wellness plan I was denied stating that I needed to provide proof that I had been providing proper dental care and getting cleanings done annually from when he was a puppy in order to cover me. None of that was explained upon sign up. I rescued my dog who was already a young adult/teen in another state mind you many years ago. I don't have access to those records so how do I prove that? Absolutely ridiculous bs excuses. My dog now has a heart condition which he has no previous medical history of this is all new and scary. Still waiting, let's see if they can prove me wrong and I can change this review to a more positive one and increase the rating

App didn’t work for me. I called and was given email address to send invoices to. Waited a long time for approval of reimbursement. Still waiting for reimbursement which has not made it to into my account yet. Not really happy.

I’m very frustrated with this insurance company. I have 2 French Bulldogs on this insurance. Not only does it take a ridiculous amount of time to process claims they seem to deny everything under “pre existing” conditions. I plan to look into other pet insurance options.
