Worth It
Overall: My experience with Pet’s Best has been great in terms of claims. Initially, their processing times were taking 3-4 weeks but recently they have been processing insanely quick which helps with the costs of vet care. My dog has been hospitalized four times over the last few months and we have been a wreck. Without the insurance, I’m not sure what we would do.
The only complaint I do have is the policy increases are very high. I’ve been with PB for nearly four years and I’m paying close to $315 monthly for two dogs to be insured. It’s unfortunate that downgrades cannot be made with our risking coverage/writing a new policy.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
