Best Decision!

It has been a hard year for us as pet parents. We lost one our sweet girls way too early and not 2 weeks later our other 2 got hit with a nasty upper respiratory infection. Pets Best has been absolutely wonderful! Filing my claims has been extremely easy and customer service is always kind and patient with my questions. When I had to call to remove our girl from the policy the rep was so compassionate, she made the process seamless and filled a hard moment with so much kindness. It's definitely a relief to have pet insurance but it's a blessing to have Pets Best!

Unexpected injuries happen all the time. Fortunately, having the right insurance on your side is the must. I am very pleased with the Pets Best insurance service that helped me a lot financially in my situation.

Supernova

My 2 year old girl Nova recently was diagnosed with MUO, an autoimmune disease that attacked her spinal cord. She's not just my dog, she's my best friend. So being able to say yes to all the needed diagnostics and treatments through 3 different specialty veterinarians (ER, Neurology, Rehab) meant that she was able to be treated quickly and accurately and is expected to have a normal lifespan. Pets Best never once fought a claim or made anything difficult at all. Just made the care possible that saved my best friend's life. Thank you. Truly

Incompetent customer service

Unfortunately stupid people work in customer service. After 5 years of automatic withdrawal monthly payments, the idiots had some sort of problems with automatic payments. Lost all credit card information. You need to call every month and wait between 35-55 minutes just to make a payment. They say they update it each month but unfortunately they are too stupid to figure it out

I submitted a claim for the first time in four years of coverage for my CKCS and was extremely pleased how easy the submission process was. They covered the treatments as the policy indicated they would.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
