First claim
The claim was approved with the standard deductions. That’s why we have the policy.
The only issue I have is the time for review and approval. It was a bit slow in my mind compared to previous pet insurance we have had from other companies.

Please.... look elsewhere!!
I don't think I have enough space to write all of the issues that I came across when dealing with Pets Best! The name implies that they're going to take exemplary care of your animals and their families. When, in reality, they take exemplary care of their own checkbooks! They will do everything in their power to deny your claim. Even when you follow the instructions given to you by a Pets Best representative, they still deny your claims. I could've even handled the funds going towards my deductible, but they flat out denied everything ~ after I was told exactly how to take my cat to the vet and apply for insurance by their representative. Steer clear of this company!!

Company does not want to pay
Had procedure performed on my dog for breathing concerns. Vet put in treatment plane it was medically necessary. Claim was denied as elective, contacted company and was told to file an appeal. no communication since appeal was filed 30 days ago, was told could take up to 90 days when I contacted them.

Pets Best delivers
I have been only with pets best for a few months. However, pets best delivered when they are needed the most. My pup had an emergency surgery which was the quite expensive. Pets best team handled things in a timely manner through out the process. And there is no bulls***. We got reimbursed as expected. Thanks Pets best. Will definitely refer to my friends and family.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
