That’s the greatest pet insurance!

Great experience as usual, I had a lengthy list details from my last dogs vet visit and they were able to conclude and I received almost all of the money that I had spent. I couldn’t be more grateful and thank you so much for my experience at Pest best pet insurance.

We ordered our policy on the phone and requested the highest level of coverage in 2016 when we got our pup. We requested the highest level of payment at 90/10 the lowest deductible at $100 and we requested unlimited coverage and ordered both wellness coverage and accident coverage. They explained that you could always lower coverage but never add on so we requested the best coverage for everything that they sold. We were assured the monthly premiums would never be based on our claims but rather on the community costs for our location and they assured us 10% increase was the most they had ever had from year to year and sometimes it would go down rather than up depending on the community costs. This sounds great but it didn't happen. Our monthly premiums were raised so high each year as much as 35% increase in one calendar year, and they changed our coverage to 5K in error. When we requested the phone records to prove our higher coverage they would say they were ordered yet they let one year after another pass without helping us. We filed a better business bureau complaint but they didn't produce the original records and just denied. They will price you out so that you basically have a savings program instead of insurance financial help. Our 6 year old was at $137 per month even after we dropped wellness coverage. By the time your dog is 10 you can expect the fees to be so high you won't have coverage. Our dog got Leukemia and they are paying only after fees and deductions around 2500 when the chemo and treatment will be 26K and stem cell 48K to 86K. All of the patients at oncology are getting full coverage for their cancer dogs with their trupanion insurance and we are left to pay all the costs out of our pocket because Pets Best falsified our coverage. We challenged their error in our records for years before the cancer diagnosis and now we will be in debt and asking for help thru go fund me. Don't let this happen to you. You can't change your insurance once your pet gets a diagnosis for any illness as it will be precluded for your new insurance. Its imperative that you make the right decision from day one that you get your furbaby and I assure you Pets Best is not going to protect your pet.

Claim was handled in a timely manner and very professionally.

I had 24Petwatch insurance with my last dog an it was easy to submit claims with quick turnaround. I don't think one claim I have submitted has been resolved without issue, resubmission or months of waiting for an outcome. I am probably going to switch.
