Hamilton's Stones

Our dog Hamilton was referred to a specialist by his regular VCA Vet for problems and complications from bladder stones. My recent online claim for this visit was processed very quickly and in accordance with my policy. I have been a member of Pet's Best for many years and this claim, and one other previous claim(s) a few years ago, were both good experiences. Based on these experiences I would recommend Pet's Best Insurance. Hamilton is still going to require surgery for this issue, and the insurance provides us with one less thing to worry about, knowing that it will help to get Hamilton the care he needs, from the vets he needs, and helps make hard decisions because of treatment costs a little easier. Thank You Pet's Best.

Simply the best....

I have always had a great experience with PetsBest. They are responsive, they are quick to solve any issues and they honor what they promise. Definitely the best pet insurance company i've dealt with. Strongly reccomended

Overpriced!!

Overpriced!! Takes up to 45 days to get a claim processed and receive any money's if there is. And after a year of service you raised insurance for almost 12% and the best explanation I got was ,,well everything goes up. So,,,I found better,,,half the price insurance for my pet. Actually i should thank you for pushing me out!!!! Good bye.

When my pet was hit by a bike and needed a lot of emergency medical treatment, Pets Best made it easy to submit my claims, and reimbursed me in exactly the way it was described in the policy.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
