Still waiting for my reimbursement

Still waiting for my reimbursement, again. It never is a speedy process, and I always end up getting that apology email while they figure out my claim. I’m so tired of paying so much money to have to wait so long to get my money back.

I made my first claim and they did a good job. I have other insurance on 2 of my other dogs and I can say, the other insurance never completed a claim this smoothly. Thank you!

Pets Best is the BEST

We decided to get pet insurance when our male cat Tizzy for four months old. Our niece, who had five different animals at the time, suggested Pets Best. We look at several different carriers and went with Pets Best. Tizzy became ill after surgery at five and a half months and Pets Best remitted our portion within 10 days time. He again became ill at almost seven months and each time he had to have a procedure or visit the animal emergency hospital, our payment was on time, within 10-12 days of his service. Filing a claim was easy online and the Pets Best staff keeps you apprised of the time frame for payment by email. Our Tizzy is healthy and happy finally and we are very happy with Pets Best coverage and their staff.

PetsBest in the perfect name

Hi! My name is Debbie and I live in Colorado. PetsBest is really great! Their response to a claim is received swiftly letting you know its been received and they give you a date by where it will be done also. If for any reason, like waiting for info from the vet, causes any delay, they will send you an email and let you know what's going on. They are always helpful and kind when you need to call them on the phone too. I just love PetsBest. When my friends ask me who is our insurer for our dogs, I happily tell them PetsBest.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
