I'm honestly just so happy to have a insurance policy that ACTUALLY pays out my bills, even if it's expensive. My dog had a tumor on her skin and we were worried about the cost, but Pets Best covered a huge portion of it. I know that for any future pets or friends who want recommendations, I'd go with you Pets Best!

Do not purchase Pets Best
I had pets best insurance for almost 5 years for both dogs. I have never filed a claim until my dog had to have surgeries not expected. The bill came to $6000 and pets best denied the whole claim. There were no pre-existing they went by comments that the veterinary, and made when she was giving education about the dog breed..

Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
