Great company

Our last visit was for annual exam and vaccinations. Two issues were found (eyes & ears) and treated. So very easy to file the claim and I didn't have to separate out the charges. It was paid correctly and Pet's Best even covered the exam fee. I have used this company for years now and wouldn't switch. Having this insurance has allowed my dog 2 more years (and counting) of good quality life. Without the insurance we could not have afforded treatment costs and he would have succumbed to cancer.

Great Experience

Very Happy with the coverage, claims process and consistency of reimbursement from PetsBest. My daughter has different coverage for her dog, and Pets Best has been better in almost every way! I would highly recommend them!

Great Pet Insurance

We have both of our pups on Pets Best. Affordable prices. Claims are normally processed within a few days. We've only had one month where it took three weeks for claims to be processed. The only thing that upsets me is prescription dog food isn't covered under any policy. With this being more expensive and only be able to purchase through a vet, I would think this would be a benefit that would be covered under the policy.

New medication for cats with HCM

I've been very happy with Pets Best Insurance for my cat. Filing claims is easy and I've always had very friendly and helpful customer service support via phone calls. The company does need to update their drug formulary to include the new FDA approved medication, Felycin-CA1, which is going to give pet owners more years with their kitties. The generics aren't even on the formulary. All of the rest of my cat's veterinary care has been covered as I had hoped. Pets Best is a great insurance for pets.

The Best

All I had to do was take a picture of my vet bill receipt and upload it to the claim. Within 24 hours it was paid to my linked care credit card used to pay the vet bill. It literally could not have been easier.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
