Eased my worries during a stressful time

I made my first claim on my senior cat after having ensured her for several years, unsure of how much exactly would be covered as this was a large vet bill and my first time using pet insurance. I was overwhelmingly surprised and grateful about how easy it was to submit the claim and receive reimbursement. The entire process was so simple, clear, speedy, and made my life much easier during a stressful time in my life/my cat's life. She is now healing and expected to make a full recovery after her surgery, and I'm so grateful that thanks to Pets Best I wasn't worried about the monetary impact the surgery would have on my family. Would highly recommend for any pet owners, but due to my experience can particularly recommend for anyone adopting an older cat.

A company that cares

When you lose your precious pet, you are vulnerable and in great need of compassion and expertise. Pets Best provided both through an awful time for us. We're still hurting, but a puppy is on its way; and we will certainly check in with Pets Best when we get him/her.

Pets Best provided excellent care throughout my claim process. The claim began as a simple toe nail issue which ultimately became a malignant digital melanoma. To experience this was very difficult and emotional. Knowing however that I had some form of financial comfort truly eased the burden. The claims process has been smooth and extremely easy. I highly recommend Pets Best.

Easy to File

I appreciate how simple it is to file claims (even if they are just going toward the deductible). This is how insurance should work. I appreciate and feel more confident in Pets Best because they don't do anything to hinder or delay the claims process.

Worth it!!

We have had this insurance since we rescued our pup. It is very easy to file claims on your phone and to keep track of their status. They communicate quickly when more info is needed and process claims quickly. For us it has been absolutely worth it to get this insurance, highly recommend!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
