Processing of claims is not consistent - overall I have been a policy holder for over 10 years - ease of filing claim and payment by direct deposit (claims reimbursement and policy premiums) are great - I have recommended you to many of my fellow pet owners

This Is My First Time With Pet He...
This is my first time with pet health insurance. We have a wonderful new puppy, and after thinking about past experiences when illness struck our beloved dogs, I knew this was something I wanted for him. The rates were reasonable, and I knew someone else with this insurance, so I went the direction of Pets Best. Still, as with any knew experience a part of me was a little doubtful about how the claims process would actually go. We purchased the wellness package as well, and the first claim I submitted was very easy. I was surprised how smoothly it went, and how much was paid out. The small portion which wasn't covered I understood (I work for a human health insurance company and am aware how some benefits carry maximums) and was clearly explained. What this did more than anything was to build my confidence in Pets Best. I feel like now I know that in the event of a emergency they would be there to help with it, not looking for a reason to deny. Thank you!

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
