I Have Had Pets Best For 8 Years....

I have had Pets Best for 8 years. Each time I have used it they have been very prompt. It is a great company to do business with. I recommend them very highly. I have always been satisfied.

Great... Until they're not.

Pets Best was great for several years, then abruptly they decided that they would stop paying fort certain problems that were recurrent. No advance warning, just a $2,000 bill.

Our Dog Had A Torn Ligament In Hi...

Our dog had a torn ligament in his left leg. Three years ago, he had the same issue with the right leg. Because we have PetsBest, we could afford to have this repair completed, and our dog is VERY happy again to be a part of our family. I also learned how to better file a complete claim and that made the procedure much quicker than our first claim three years ago. When the claim is filed, it is important to have the Dr.'s report included with the receipt, as this saves time.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
