Using Pets Best went very smooth.

This was my 1st time using Pets Best and the only part I think I could have done differently is buying a 12pk of preventative, but submit 1/2 for each dog...other than that, it went very smooth!

Online claim process is easy.

I was able to submit my claim is very easy online. The only area improvement would be reaching out to me in regards to the additional information needed as the veterinary clinic was unresponsive and I had the missing information.

Easy claims process.

What an easy process to claim and then receive funding for our dog. Everyone raves about this insurance before we decided to buy it and now we see why. So grateful we have it.

Best insurance

I would highly recommend Pets Best as insurance for your furbabies. Not only do you receive timely notifications and payments, you have peace of mind for your furbabies should the time arise you need it. They provide great customer service and answer any questions you may have. I have and will continue to recommend them. Keep up the pawsome job Pets Best! My furbabies appreciate it and as their mommy, I do too! 5 stars (paws)!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
