Like all insurance, they'll dodge payment when they can :/

They extrapolated my 3 mo. old puppy's potty training / crate anxiety to include noise phobia 6 months later for the 4th of July. Causes of stress are different and being a puppy learning to potty train in a crate is different from adult separation anxiety or firework noise phobia. Since I work at my vet clinic, I wrote mentions of his struggle learning crating & those were counted as 'veterinary observance' although they were just owner's personal concerns with a puppy overcoming crate training - my vets never discussed/diagnosed the behavior as such. I submitted an appeal, but I am annoyed I chose this insurance over others, because they got better reviews than others about whom I've heard claim-denial-complaints and some I've heard cost complaints about...

Because It Was A Traumatic Experi...

Because it was a traumatic experience what happened to my dog, it was nice that the financial burden was eased and I didn't have to argue or debate any costs. I carried the pet insurance for this reason and you came through. Thank you

My Doggie Unfortunately Got A Uti...

My doggie unfortunately got a UTI. It was over Labor Day Weekend and she had to go to the ER instead of her regular vet. I submitted my claim from the Emergency Room visit with Pet's Best and was refunded within a week! I was in shock! Very thankful for Pet's Best! My Mom goes through another pet insurance company for her dog and their reimbursement time takes 2 months. I would highly recommend Pet's Best to anyone thinking of wanting to get insurance for their furry loved ones!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
