Very Impressed

After a scary week of visits to the regular vet and the ER with two sick kitties, I was intensely relieved at the ease and speed with which my claim was filed and processed. Moki and Zephyr are feeling much better, and were able to get the care they needed without putting me in a financial black hole. I highly recommend Pet’s Best for all your furry family members.

Like any insurance--great if you need …

Like any insurance--great if you need it, but you wonder if it was a waste if you don't. I can tell you, for my little bichon, I am happy to have it. Her meds are covered and a recent vet bill of almost $600 was reimbursed for more than several monthly payments costs us. Our policy limit would not work for any major claim, but we have the ability to get good vet care to explore various issues and concerns that arise. Customer service is prompt.

It's been a good experience for me and honey

I was able to do the complete claim process from my Samsung galaxy. I downloaded information from the pets best website and everything was very easy to understand. I received payment a week after submitting the claim. Had to take my dog to emergency vet.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
