The customer service aspect of your…
The customer service aspect of your business needs more attention. I recieved a notification of a rejected claim (it was inadvertently duplicated) before i was notified the original claim was honored. When i called your office it was closed for a 'team build'. I left a message which was never returned. Subsequently, i was left worried for days if my claim would be paid. The claim took almost a month to process, which led to me having to pay interest on the credit card account i used to pay the bill.
The premiums are sufficient to warrant much higher level of customer attention.

They came through when we need them the most...
If you're looking for fast claims processing insurance company, I'm sure there are other insurers out there that can process claims quicker. But...if you're like me, and you want a fair and honest insurer that stands behind their promises, I recommend that you consider Pet's Best as a top contender. I have a ~ 1.5 year old Great Pyrenees mix that was adopted back in April 2019. With the exception of a few minor issues, he was healthy and growing. Unfortunately he was recently diagnosed with a patella luxation (floating knee cap) injury and may need surgery. Clearly I wanted to get a few credible opinions, but along the way, he needed meds, x-rays, etc. Pet's Best did need to get additional details from my vet ahead of processing the claim. Yes...it did take longer than I would have liked, but in the end, they covered the majority of his bills. As a new member, I have to say that even in follow-up with them, they have been courteous and informative. But most important, they care about their customers and it shows. I would recommend them seriously...

Sad
Sad when you have been sending documents since March and it's November and still no resolution.
But when it was time to pay my policy they took my money right away. I am so disappointed.

We told him that we're more than satisfied with Pets Best. Claims are easy to submit and descriptions of payments are thoroughly explained, not to mention, paid quickly. We highly recommend Pets Best!!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
