Pets Best has been a very good insurance for our dog.

I have been pretty much pleased with your company. It was easy to file a claim and was explained to us when the claim was being processed and what to expected with the timeline in doing so. I appreciated the notifications of our claim and where in the process it was. I have recommended Pets Best to many of my friends and family members and to my clients.

The process was easy!

The process was easy. It is a little scary when they tell you that the covered amount will be based on the medical records and the need for the procedure but in the end they took care of everything I had expected. They were running a little behind because of COVID but they kept me informed of delays and I got my payment before the date they told me.

Pets Best has been AMAZING at covering my cat's multitude of health issues. She is only 3 years old and has already seen 4 specialists for her environmental allergies, ophthalmology issues and asthma! They cover her medications and are thorough with their explanations. I am so happy that my cat is insured with a great company!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
