They will pay for small expenses but you are on your own for major ones

Our dog got cancer, very aggressive cancer.. She was a great dog and we didn't want to just let her go. One Veterinarian recommended using Chinese herbs and oxygen (hyperbaric chamber). Pets Best Insurance company refused to pay for this treatment even though the doctor submitted articles about how this treatment has been around for numerous years and has proven effective, They kept saying it was experimental. $15000.00 later we almost beat the cancer, one tumor shrunk and the other disappeared. We had our little dog for 2 1/2 additional years thanks to this treatment. Our little Olivia now has a legacy because the doctors saw the potential of this type of treatment and are adding it to their practice. Needless to say I don't use this company any more.

So Glad I Enrolled

This is my first experience with pet insurance and I find myself thanking my lucky stars that I got it! I have a relatively healthy 6 year old cat who suddenly became very ill...turns out she ate a handful of rubber bands. One surgery later she's doing much better and I'm not broke! I have had no problems with claims whatsoever. I would definitely recommend Pets Best.

Pets Best is definitely your Pet’s Best!

I was a customer of a different insurance company and unhappy with how few benefits received for the amount I was paying. I did the research and put in the time to compare multiple insurance companies and plans. I chose Pets Best because in comparison to everything I found during extensive research, the plans available through Pets Best surpasses all others I found. When I called the first time, the customer service was exceptional. Unlike other companies who only give great customer service the first time you call just to secure your business, Pets Best has been exceptional customer service every single time I have called. The plans available cover many options for different household budgets, making a huge difference in your ability to provide the best care possible every time. I recently took my dog in for a procedure and the vet’s bill was $348. After I paid it, I opened up the user friendly Pets Best app and took a quick snapshot of the invoice to submit my claim. Pets Best was quick to respond, direct depositing my reimbursement of $205. That’s $205 that I would have been without were it not for this great company. We will never

Great Process!

Only had the policy a short time. Submitted a claim for spaying of our dog and it was processed in 3 days. Check sent the same day. Easy online process to submit the claim. Very satisfied with the insurance. Would highly recommend Pets Best!

Peace of mind

They make it very easy. You can pick and choose what coverage you exactly want for your pet. That way you can also control how much you would like to pay in premium costs. You can adjust by the amount of deductible, percentage of reimbursement and type of coverage as well as a ceiling for payouts for a year. We lost our pet this year but we had the peace of mind to know that we could give her the best care possible because of our coverage on her.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
