So Glad We Took The Chance...
After watching a friend of ours have to fork over more than $3k in medical bills after their dog swallowed some rocks in a garden, pet insurance became something I wanted to at least look at taking on a new pup (toddler) of our own. Pets Best came in with the lowest rates and honestly were the only company to cover well-visits too. This shows that they care about the wellbeing of their insured and not just when they are sick. Thanks Pets Best for a great first experience!

Best pet insurance service
Best pet insurance service! Pets Best was so helpful throughout our entire process. My dog was attacked by another dog and had to have emergency surgery, with lots of complications and follow-up visits. Pets Best was so easy to use to file our multiple claims, and the Whisker Doc service was great in helping us as well. We received our reimbursement within 3 weeks of the incident, and the payment in our account was immediate. We will continue to use Pets Best for all of our pets.

Highly recommend Pets Best Pet Health Insurance! I have home and car insurance with Farmers. So thought it was a great idea to add pet insurance when I heard about it. Only as preventative care, never expecting my healthy furry child would visit the ER. Their customer service is the BEST very nice and understanding, they take the time to explain everything and very compassionate

What's the point of pet insurance if they won't insure my pet...
My insurance policy had prescription medication as something they covered. Yet when I brought my dog to the vet and got the medication, I was told (30 DAYS LATER), that I wasn't able to get reimbursed. What is the point of pet insurance if they don't even insure your pet?! I cancelled my policy right after. I do NOT recommend!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
