Great Insurance - Gave my Girl a Chance

I think PetsBest is excellent insurance. I was able to upload files via the app and not overnight, but a quick process in reviewing and processing the claim was great. I never want anyone’s dog to have cancer and have a leg amputated. But this where I am at today. The doctors are saying that my little girl has gained another 4+ years in of life with the surgery. I thank PetsBest for their coverage. It gave her a chance that without insurance would have been hard to provide the care.

Wonderful Company!

Pets Best has been wonderful to work with. We had the insurance for a few years when our 5 year old Goldendoodle Walter got diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. With all of the emotional distress this diagnoses caused our family, the last thing we wanted to worry about were finances and not being able to select the best treatment possible. Pets Best helped alleviate that financial stress and we were so thankful we had purchased the insurance. Unfortunately, Walter passed away soon after his diagnoses, as the cancer was very aggressive and no treatment was proving effective. Pets Best processed our claims as quickly as possible, and even sent us a sympathy card after seeing on the uploaded receipts that he had passed. On top of all of this, they included a check that reimbursed us for the remainder of the annual cost of the plan. This act of kindness went a long way, and we were so appreciative we were working with such a good company. We struggled a lot with the loss of our best friend, so anything to make the overall process easier meant so much to us. We would highly recommend Pets Best to anyone looking for reliable pet insurance.

ZERO customer service.

This is the WORST possible company when you need to talk to a human. The answer to my question is not on the website so I have made 3 attempts to talk to them. I been on hold as long as 30 minutes at a time and STILL have not spoken with a human being.

First well-puppy claim paid fast and easy

Recently switched from another insurer to Pets Best and filed my first well puppy claim. The process was fast and easy resulting in reimbursement within 2 weeks. I hope that future accident/illness claims goes as smoothly.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
