Fantastic coverage and quick clim payment

Taking your dog to the vet comes with plenty of stress. Not only can your "best friend" tell you what is wrong when it is apparent they are hurting, but along with it comes the financial stress of what may be to come in terms of testing and diagnostics. Having Nationwide Pet Insurance has allowed us to avoid making those difficult treatment decisions, when your beloved pet needs care. Thank you Nationwide for your coverage and quick payment of our recent claim. Baxter and my family are all feeling much better because of it!

I have been thrilled with the customer service and ease of submitting claims with Nationwide.

I haven’t owned a pet for a long time. I was concerned with veterinary costs, but with this nationwide insurance I have been thrilled with the coverage. The out of pocket expense including the premium make my pet costs easy to plan for with my puppy.

Quick follow-up, convenient service

We brought our dog Oshie to the vet for his annual checkup and for some medications he would need. The Claim process was pretty straightforward and easy, and Nationwide processed the claim quickly, in less than a week. Appreciate their service!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
