I was amazed that payment was sent so quickly. I sent the claim in Monday pm and received notification of deposit Friday.

Extremely Helpful.
Extremely easy to use and always helpful. Have never had a problem with a claim and easy to submit a claim. I 100% recommend them for your pet needs. They put my mind at ease when my fur baby has to go to the vet. One less thing to worry about.

Nationwide is such a great insurance to have, especially during COVID
During job losses and unemployment and COVID, I feel secure knowing that my dog will get her treatment because I have such great pet insurance. My dog has better healthcare than I do :)

Opinion of Nationwide
I would recommend Nationwide. They make submission of claims very easy. You're refund on services is usually paid within 3 weeks from submission. Many available plans to choose from; multi-pet discounts.

Sometimes I have to dispute the claim and I win - not sure what the problem is
Sometimes payment takes a long time - I would recommend but warn folks that you might need to dispute the claim. That should not be.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
