Satistied Client for many years

Maggie Mae is the second dog I've insured with Nationwide. The first, unfortunately died from cancer. I didn't hesitate to insure Maggie with Nationwide after how well Nationwide helped me through the terrible situation with my first pet - I received thousands back on her treatment as I had the cancer rider. Recently, it looked like Maggie might have a kidney issue, but it turned out to be a non-issue. Again, Nationwide was there and paid 100% of the claim. Thanks for helping me give my fur babies the best care possible!

Awesome way to close out a not-so-fun situation

Our 6 month old puppy managed to get his paws on a barbecue basting brush and unfortunately the head of said brush came off and got swallowed, which would be okay if our pet were a shark but not so good for a puppy. The brush managed to block him up and needed to be surgically removed. Not something you want to really go through, given the stress and expense of it all. However after everything settled down and made the claim, Nationwide processed it in short order and paid out everything according to our plan. No stress, no arguments - just worked the way it should have!

Best decision I ever made was purchasing pet insurance.

I am on the Boston Terrier Addicts Facebook page every day, and very often people will ask if they should purchase pet insurance for their Boston. I immediately respond back YES, and that have your insurance and it was the best decision I ever made. The claims process couldn't be easier. Thank you for helping me take great care of my Boston!

Good service

My dog required 3 vet visits in a week. Because knowing I had nationwide I felt I was able to give him all the medical attention he needed. It was very easy to summit all the bills and a quick turn around with explanation of benefits

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
