Great insurance coverage

Lenny is doing very well now. We like his vet and he has resolved any concerns large or small to keep Lenny very healthy. We are very happy with the insurance policy through Nationwide.

Outstanding Service

I have now used Nationwide Pet Insurance for the last three months and the service has been great. We have submitted multiple claims since we have two puppies and they required multiple shots and checkups at this early age, plus had them spayed and neutered. Submitting claims was very easy and fast. The only thing that does not earn the 10 rating is the length of time to process. But that is the only thing. Glad we purchased this affordable insurance for our dogs. Thank you Nationwide for offering this service.

I am so grateful to Nationwide Pet insurance. I have 2 boxers I am 100% commission and had a vet bill over $1,000.00. I did not have to borrow money or worry about what vet options I could afford and which options I might have to forego. 90% reimbursement and they actually reached out to follow up on how Stella was faring after her illness. I would never use another Pet insurer Nationwide is #1

Helpful when the problem is serious.

Holly is young, with no big issues,and anew type of policy...so I am still not sure how it will pay later. My problem is the up front money before payment.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
