I am VERY happy with this pet insurance.

I am VERY happy with this pet insurance. I have had 2 pets in the past. Both of them had medical issues. I did NOT have insurance for them, so everything was out-of-pocket. Between the two, the money I spent would have purchased me a very nice new car. I love my pets, so I do everything I can to keep them happy and healthy, so I had no problem spending the money, but it's REALLY nice to be reimbursed for 90% of all of my costs for my current pet!!

AWESOME

Luna is still on the mend and we are still trying to get her to use her left leg. She tries to put pressure on it but she's afraid so I feel she will do it on her time. NATIONWIDE IS AWESOME and thank you for all your help. This October I'm putting my other dog Xena on this insurance and I can't wait. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE AND THINKING OF MY PRECIOUS LUNA! :)

Amazing Insurance!

My English bulldog had to have bilateral luxating patella surgery which costs approx. $5,000. Nationwide covered 90% of the costs!! It was our first claim therefore it took longer than usual for us to receive the claim back, which was totally understandable! I will always use nationwide pet insurance for all pets going forward!!!!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
