Vets charge to much and nationwide rebuses to little
I think what you reimburse is horrible. It is a fraction of what the vet charges..

Overall I am extremely happy with Nationwide pet insurance
With the exception of the coverage for my dogs Hyperparathyroid being ridiculously low (full reimbursement of less than 800 for a 4000 surgery 2 years in a row) I have no complaints with Nationwide. I have been with them for the last 9 years and always receive reimbursement within 30 days and customer service is awesome! I have looked at competitors and while they are all relatively competitive I prefer the lower annual cost to other companies that have a higher annual cost with a reimbursement cap. I have both my dogs on Nationwide and I know my 10+ year old Ridgeback would not be with me still if I would not have had coverage. Helps get you through illness or injury if you know you can do the best for your fur-baby.

Fast, Easy Claim Process
Nationwide has been an absolute LIFE SAVER when our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy unexpectedly swallowed a sock and ended up needing emergency surgery. Nationwide reimbursed us over $4,000. The claim process was fast and easy, and the money was direct deposited into our checking account within 30 days. We have had an amazing experience with Nationwide and would recommend them to anyone! You never know when something can go very wrong, and it's nice to know we're protected financially if and when that happens.

Nationwide is on MY side!
Thank you for relieving the pressures of vet bills along with the scare of a sick pup. I feel I can easily get the help i need without the worry of vet bills being protected with this insurance.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
