Pays better and faster than our health insurance
I have been very impressed by the ease and speed of processing claims for our Great Dane. Unfortunately, she has had many genetic problems starting about 3 months old. Nationwide has never denied or questioned anything. It is nice to get the service that you expect. It is also great that the small increase in premiums is not based on the number of times you submitted claims. It is the same fee for everyone. I appreciate not having the typical struggles we have with our own health insurance needs. Thank you Nationwide.

I'm so glad I found VPI -- they're the BEST!
Putting in a claim is always so easy. Reimbursement is swift and accurate. I've heard horror stories about other pet insurances. I can rest assured that my Tara will always have the medical care she needs because I'm with an honest company!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
