Great Insurance Coverage!
We love having Nationwide Pet Insurance! They have a low deductible and cover 90% after we hit that deductible. Its great for a new puppy, especially with the French Bulldog breed. Basilone was found to have a spot on his eye that required him to see a doggy optometrist and it was covered under our policy! Its great to know we can count on Nationwide to help us take care of our dog to the fullest extent.

You need an App
It seems to take a very long time for a claim to be settled. I checked on my last one two weeks after mailing it in, and it still hadn't been put into the system yet. Having an App that I could submit my claim would be easier for me and I would think it would make things faster on the other end too. Otherwise this is great Pet Insurance...affordable price for nice coverage...just be prepared to wait a while to see the claim get settled.

Great Service!
Nationwide Pet Insurance is fantastic! Provides great peace of mind when you know you're covered for just about everything for your pet. Highly recommend , great for preventative measures like teeth cleanings and shots to also emergency care you made need unexpectantly

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
