Don’t hold your breathe waiting to get reimbursed...takes forever

Once you go to the vet, and submit your claim...prepare to grow old waiting... typical insurance company quick to collect it takes forever to reimburse. I have to call customer service to ask him why is it taking so long and I keep getting the ticket take up to 30 days to get reimbursement fecal matter story. I’ve already in electronic payments, so once Godot finally shows, I can get paid. The customer does not want to hear that you have a large volume of claims and you’re doing your best to work through them. Would the Insurance company want to hear I’m trying to make your payment and I’m doing my best to process it through my systems, but each monthly payment could take up to 30 days to process. Oh wait they grab your financial information when you signed up so they take it out no matter what!!! It’s nice to take but it be nice to receive!

Good For Wellness and Overall Pet Emergencies

Good for wellness and overall emergencies. Had to pay for my dog to be spade because you will not do it the first year. I think that policy stinks.

Nationwide has really helped me recover some of the expenses I've incurred with my Great Dane

If you're looking for a reasonably priced insurance policy for your dog or cat, Nationwide is where they are at! They've really helped me in recovering some of the expenses I've incurred with my Great Dane. Dane are prone to health issues so I knew I wanted an insurance policy on her. Nationwide had a few options to choose from, based on what you can afford and what you are looking for as far as coverage. You do need to read all of the fine print on the different options, but that is true with ANY insurance policy you are looking for. I would recommend using them for your insurance needs.

Great value for the money

We have been with Nationwide for awhile now. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a furry family member. They are easy to deal with and definitely help when the cost of medical help is required.

It worked out

It takes the exact 30 days, but the check came through. I filed a claim with the full invoice from my vet and was able to get most of the surgery for Margot covered. The issue I had was a standard case of my cat eating something she wasn’t supposed to which got stuck in her tummy and needed to be removed surgically. I love my cat but wow it hurt my wallet to get the surgery done. Thankfully it ended up being fully covered minus the deductible. Turned out to be worth it
