Top of the Line
Nationwide (formerly VPI) has continued to provide great coverage, service, and timely reimbursements for the last 15 years (9 yrs for my previous Rottie, and 6 yrs for my current one). I have looked around but am totally satisfied after comparisons with other companies. Yes, I would and do recommend Nationwide pet insurance to friends, new and old, about the necessity of having pet insurance. Please continue to provide your great benefit in pet health care and protection.

Not worth the money
I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance (formerly VPI) for a few years. I think the coverages they offer are reduced every year. I am presently looking for another carrier. If you can explain to me why this is happening, I would be happy to hear from you. I pay a lot of money per month for you to decline office visits for sickness.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
