Thank you for helping with a necessary surgery!

Nala tore her CCL and requires a tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA) to decrease pain and allow her to walk normally. Based on my major medical plan, Nala ended up being eligible for 100% coverage. Thank you so much for the relatively quick turn around time!!

Very Happy With our Service

We are very happy with our Nationwide insurance for Tacky. The only criticism we have is the amount of time it takes to process claims. It seems to take 4 weeks or longer to process and get our payment. Also we can not seem to be able to send claims through the VitusVet app as you are not able to read what we send. It is easy to send in claims via e-mail so that it what we do. It is very convenient to get our payment directly into a bank account.

Fast,easy filing claims, accurate and reassuring.

My 3 yr old torn a knee tendon slipping on wood floors.. the surgery was to repair.. it was expensive.. but ik knew i had Nationwide behind me to cover most of the cost.. im on fixed income, it pays to protect my monthly budget with this coverage.. thanks

Not worth premium. Them added riders on a puppy.

Nationwide denied most claims for routine puppy visits. Puppy had ear infections and urinary infections that were not a genetic disorder or a preexisting condition....found on first puppy visit...unfair to say the least. Will never recommend this pet insurance to anyone. This was my first experience with pet insurance and it has been a disaster. Very disappointed and dissatisfied to say the least.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
