Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

I've been really happy with the service we've received from our pet insurance. It's come in handy several times and we've always received reimbursement within a few weeks of submitting our claims. Would recommend to dog owners.

MUCH confusion with paperwork processing. Nationwide claims processor couldn't locate requested paperwork previously confirmed receiving by customer service plus I have fax conformation for sending. I was told that the claims processor didn't have access to the queue the paperwork was sent to (it was sent to the fax number you supplied). Even though you already had Dr notes for time frames requested, the Vet office assisted me and sent you an overkill of paperwork... 7 years and 45 pages of notes. I just spoke to another of your customers who is experiencing the same paperwork confusion problem. Not good!

We got VPI insurance after the death of our last dog, which was very hard on us. Now this pup of ours (who's almost 12) may be pretty ill. We're waiting on a radiologist's report, but things sound bad. We had VPI when our 3 yr old cat passed from congenative heart failure, which helped us through. The agents were so kind & really sweet, understanding our sorrow & needs. I'll always thank them for that. VPI has never forgotten our pets birthdays & they check in, from time to time, via email, to see how things are for us. I will always be glad VPI was recommended to us, & I continue to recommend it to other pet owners.

I have had Nationwide for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it! . I work at a dental office and deal with insurance companies on a daily basis. I see insurance denying claims for no reason, and patients having to pay out of pocket along with the premiums, so I went in with very low expectations. I have never had a claim denied, ever! In fact, it has been such an easy process and my claims get paid very quickly. If only other insurance companies could get on board with nationwide and the way they treat their insured. I have had to call with some questions here and there and am always greeted professionally and respectfully. They are super helpful every time. I have referred my brother for his dog and my good friend and they also really love it! If you are looking for pet insurance, look no further. You won't be sorry with Nationwide.

Carlton did some damage to 2 of his toes and was in pain/discomfort. Took him to his regular vet for x-rays/treatment. There were 3 claims and Nationwide took care of them expeditiously, no issues at all. Filing a claim with Nationwide is super easy. I continue to recommend Nationwide to all pet owners.
