Nationwide Never Lets Me Down
I have had pet insurance for as long as I’ve had dogs (about 17 years). I have been through three cancer diagnoses, as well as 4 years of chemo for my dog, Raven. My dogs have lived into their teens and I could not have given them the great lives they had if not for Nationwide! The benefits are amazing, and have helped me to afford life-saving treatments. In addition, the great compassion and kindness I received from the representatives when it came time to say goodbye to my beloved pets was so very comforting and appreciated. I recommend this insurance to anyone with a new pet!

always happy with Buddy's policy
For the nearly five years we've had this policy, I can say it's been good coverage continuously. would like premiums to be lower. Also, it seems to take too long for the reimbursement to be completed.

Best.Care.Possible
Gisela is the third dog I have insured with VPI/NATIONWIDE. Having insurance assures that routine care is not overlooked or postponed. My dogs are healthy and happy. Neither one of us is afraid to see the Vet or the bill.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
