The best pet insurance there is

I love nationwide pet insurance. Nationwide is the only pet insurance that allows for wellness checks, non emergency vet visits, and yearly shots. I love that no matter why I have to take my baby to the vet that he is covered. Customer service is amazing, they always reply to emails within 48 hours, they check in on my baby to make sure he is okay after going to the vet. I love that I can speak with a vet anytime of the day. I think nationwide pet insurance is a must have for any pet owner.

Great plan, however, it takes far too long to be reimburse!

Nationwide is by far the TOP pet insurance plan, especially if you sign-up for the top of the line--health & wellness! However, despite the fact i send in my claims on the day they occur, the reimbursement takes almost a month -- far too long for the quality of the plan!

Strongly recommend Nationwide pet insurance

I had this insurance since my dog is 3 months old and he became 7 years now. I really appreciate for this insurance covering all of my concerns about my precious baby Maru. They covered my dog for paw surgery and ligament surgery. This insurance will make you feel relieved whatever happened to your pet. Strongly recommend!!!!

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
