Great benefits for my four legged child

Purchasing pet insurance has been one of the best decisions I made when adopting my dog. I’ve never had pet insurance with previous dogs and after purchasing it this go around I realize I made a huge mistake in the past. Having a young pup who needs shots, regular check ups, and the occasional illness visit isn’t a worry with pet insurance. Great coverage and easy process to file claims.

Complete, concise and no hassle. Thankful that this service and resource was there when my young dog encountered big hip problems that were unusual. Thinking this protection would be for accidents with a busy dog and health later in life. I fully recommend Nationwide. It has made the tension and and stress less knowing I am covered with zero hassle.

The perfect partner in pet healthcare!

I have had coverage with Nationwide for a couple of years now and have been impressed with how easy it is to do business with them... and in fact often complain to my health insurance company how much easier it is to submit claims! Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
