Covers what it should
Covers what it should cover with little nonsense. I have had a lot of appointments, tests and surgery covered this year for my cat. Thanks to Nationwide, I was able to afford to save my cats life. He had a brain tumor and without pet insurance there is no way I would have been able to afford the $10,000 plus for tests, MRI, checkups, hospital stay and surgery. He is now doing extremely well!!!

Great to have help with the bills
It’s great having help with Callie’s vet bills-she has arthritis in her elbow and were trying to find a medication that works for her-haven’t found it yet-thanks for your help

Nationwide Insurance is one we can count on to be there for us when our pet needs extra care.
Insurance is always a gamble. It costs money...but what if you need It? We would never want to have to have our pets euthanized because of cost concerns. We like knowing that our "babies" will have any care that they need.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
