Great insurance with asome support and customer service representatives

I am very happy I made the decision to choose nationwide pet insurance for my furry kid. The customer service, support, help and all the different tools available to make my life easier when it comes down to taking care of my dogs health are available through nationwide! Nationwide Pet Insurance is the best

We have used Nationwide, previously VPI, since Marley was born. She is to be 10 years old this month and unfortunately starting at about 4/12 to 5 she has many health issues like diabetes, cataract surgery (she can Now see), thyroidism and skin issues. Thanks to our insurance Marley was and still Able to have the best of care with 4 veterinarians

Appreciate the help

We're glad that Nationwide came through to help us out with unexpected vetbills as we learned out dog had had a couple teeth require extraction, and a abcess in his mouth. The financial payment helped us tremendously as we had other unexpected vet bills for another of our dogs that month.

Great coverage at a good price.

Although insurance can be an added monthly expense, it is definitely priceless when needed. I have a $100 annual deductible and 90% reimbursement on covered items. I’d rather pay monthly than to be hit with a huge expense if a serious accident or illness occurs.

Excellent insurance plan

Knowing that we'll always have pets in our home, it is comforting to know that we'll always be able to provide them with complete veterinarian care. This is in part because we want the best for our pets, and because we have insurance coverage through Nationwide. Thank you Nationwide for offering plans that fit our pets lives and our budget.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
