I am very happy with Nationwide insurance for my dog.

Any time I have submitted a claim, it has been handled efficiently. There is a slight waiting period for reimbursement but it's tolerable. I always understand the reasoning for reimbursements with the paperwork returned to me.

Minimal Reimbursements

I have been with Nation Wide since the beginning of 2018. I thought I would go with them because their premiums were lower. Well, I got what I paid for. Less Reimbursements from them. I have two Mastiffs. One is on prescription food. My previous insurer would reimburse almost all of the cost of the food. Nation Wide? $0. So far for both dogs I have paid $1243.50 in Vet bills (NOT including the prescription food), $1,480.08 in premiums for a total of $2,723.58 and have been reimbursed $379.52. This last visit to the vet was the biggest reimbursement. Vet bills $556.99 - Reimbursement $257.74. Finally, something positive.

I'm so thankful for this insurance plan!

I have two senior dogs who have become quite sick with age. Thanks to this insurance plan, I'm able to provide them with the best medical care possible. I'm confident that my fur babies will live out the rest of the lives comfortably and with their illnesses under control.

Claims take too long to process.

While I always appreciate being reimbursed for the expenses, it takes quite a while to received it. Most take 30 days or more. Would like to see it faster.
