Nationwide, highly reputable, would definitely recommend them.

We have been with Nationwide pet insurance for about 7 years now. They have always given us excellent service from processing our claims to paying out refund checks. They have always handled things very promptly and very professionally and we have never had a problem with them. They are a highly reputable company and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Nationwide for giving us peace of mind knowing that our pet (Percy) is covered.

Highly Recommend Nationwide

Nationwide has covered everything they said they would, no unexpected surprises. On the RARE instance I have questioned something that was denied, they explained it politely or fixed their error. They are prompt in reimbursement. My poor Pup got SRMA when she was only 2 years old and having pet insurance has saved me thousands and thousands of dollars! I feel that I am able to give my dog the care she needs and deserves and not just what I can afford. I will never again leave any future pets unprotected!

Nationwide got your back when your dog needs special care and attention.

Nationwide is a great pet insurance provider. They reimburse you a decent amount of the claims you submit. The only issue I have is that claims may take over a month to be reimbursed.

Annual Dental Appointment

Our dog had to have some major dental work done and luckily for us, our insurance covered most of it (minus deductible). Took a bit of time to get the actual payment, but we did get it.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
