Best Pet Insurance

Nationwide provides the best, most comprehensive policy covering 90% all illnesses and wellness costs for our pug. I find Nationwide to be very helpful, honest and ethical. None of our claims have ever been questioned or denied. I am very grateful for this policy!

you guys are great and have helped me make health decisions on my pets that i would of not had the option for without you.

the only thing i would want to change with you guys is the fact it takes so long to get reimbursed by you. My Ebby got very ill over christmass 2018. things are tight anyway at that time. She needed a CT of her head to see what was going on. Didn't want to have her put down for a stick in her nose. Wish it was a stick , but now we know its nasel cancer. Yes she is still alive but it will not be long. if i got reimbursed i can afford to have her cremated and put with our other beloved pets. ( is that sick) We love you guys and we have told all our friends about it. I have had several people from where i work ( providence) signup because we can do it through payroll deduct. you only got a 9 score because there is always room for improvement .

Glad we bought insurance!

Our Frenchie has had 2 hospitalizations due to stomach issues and vomiting. We received great care for her and thank goodness we were covered, EXPENSIVE!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is there for us when we need them most!

Murphy needed to have a mass removed from his paw. Luckily it was benign, but still the surgery was quite costly. Nationwide reimbursed us for the surgery.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
