Overall, very good.
Nationwide asked for the dr diagnosis even tho it was on the claim. I sent it in and I received a check anyway.

Great coverage for surgery
My dog recently had surgery for a torn ACL, followed by a fracture of the same leg. The coverage was great and gave us one less thing to worry about.

Billing
The only complaint I have is about billing. There was a delay in billing my account for about 6 months. Then you decide to charge me more monthly than my monthly premium. That’s fine but I was never notified as to this or how long this will go on. So I would like to know when the increased premium will end.

Such a comfort to have Nationwide when my dog isn’t feeling well.
When your pet is sick, the last thing you need is more stress about the cost to get them cared for. Nationwide has helped us immensely to get our dog the best of care when he needs it most without additional financial burden.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
